Clinical Informatics Faculty Dr. Antipolo Presents at Epic XGM

Ashley Antipolo, M.D., presented “3…2…1…Launch Your MISL Program: Physician Informatics Engagement and Leadership in the Academic Healthcare Setting” on May 2 at Epic XGM 2022.

Dr. Antipolo shared how Arkansas Children’s established a Medical Informatics Specialty Leadership (MISL) program to solidify provider engagement in the post-go-live optimization phase of an Epic launch. This successful grassroots program transformed engagement and created physician leaders beyond the role of subject matter experts, while ensuring full representation of specialty input into information systems optimization efforts.

Her talk was part of the Physicians Advisory Council meeting, as part of XGM 2022 at Epic’s campus in Verona, Wisc.

Dr. Antipolo is a rotation faculty supervisor in the Clinical Informatics Fellowship Program for the Clinical Decision Support rotation and is Associate Medical Information Officer at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
