What are your particular clinical interests?
One of my clinical interests is women’s and preventive medicine. I love to do procedures and hands-on medicine, as well as teaching and taking time to talk to patients about wellness. I strive to address my patients’ problems and concerns but also help them cultivate a healthier lifestyle.
Why did you choose Family Medicine?
I want to be present for my patients during all stages of life. As a family physician, I believe I can not only help with current ailments or problems, but also form long term relationships where I can spend time helping patients lead healthy lives.
Why did you choose the Little Rock Family Medicine residency program?
Having attended medical school in Arkansas, the population was dear to my heart and I wanted to complete training in a strong university program that will make me the best physician I can be. I knew from the beginning of medical school that Little Rock FM was an exceptional program with endless opportunities for growth, so it was an easy choice when it came to choosing a place for residency.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of medicine?
Traveling and exploring are part of my lifestyle! I’ve been to over 25 countries, and I hope to continue adding to the list. I also absolutely love food, and trying new restaurants and cooking at home are some of my favorite pastimes. I have a fiancé who is also in residency and we share three adorable and crazy cats!
