Topics of interest for this Special Issue of Biomolecules include retinal biology, the role of retinal pigment epithelium (RPE), the structure and functions of the retina’s rods and cones, and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). AMD presents two phenotypes: dry AMD and wet AMD.

Virtual Retirement Reception for Dr. Garcia-Rill
