Vanakkam! I’m Naren. I’m from Tuticorin, a small coastal town in South India. For med school, I moved to Chennai.
During my first year in med school, I was blown away by the macro-simplicity and micro-complexity of the nervous system. I made a decision to study it for life and here I am, starting my residency in Neurology.

The two things that kept me sane during med school were soccer and the sea. I played as a regista and captained my university soccer team. If you don’t find me in the soccer field, you know I’m at the beach. Yes, I’m a sea person. The sea never fails to bring things into perspective, serving as the ideal place for self-reflection.

I’m thrilled to start the next chapter of my life, in Little Rock. I’m looking forward to four exciting years of knowledge, experience and fun! I’m sure I’ll not miss the beach at the Natural State!
