Alicia Cook, MNSc, CPNP-AC, APN

Advanced Practice Nurse
 

Alicia Cook, MNSc, CPNP-AC, APN, began serving as the inpatient Advanced Practice Registered Nurse for the College of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in 2018.  During nursing school, she started her career at Arkansas Children’s Hospital as a patient care technician in 2002. She began as a staff nurse in the pediatric critical care unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital in 2004.  In 2010, after completing her acute care pediatric advanced practice degree, she began her nurse practitioner career with the General Surgery and Trauma team.

She has a Masters in Nursing Science from UAMS, Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from University of Central Arkansas in Conway. Alicia is a member of National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, American Pediatric Surgical Association, and the Arkansas Children’s Advanced Practice council. She is certified with the Pediatric Certified Nursing Board.  She is passionate about  the children and families of Arkansas.
