When I studied medicine, I most enjoyed learning about: All the hospital rotations, because they let me understand and practice everything I have read and studied in class, and taught me the importance of having a good connection with patients.
Things that make me unique: I am positive and friendly, do not give up easily and enjoy my profession.
I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: Be a Mom, Wife, Sister, Friend, and Aunt.
To get myself motivated I think of: How much I love my profession and everything that I have done to be here. My husband and daughter support, and the example of my father who worked hard every day of his life as a Veterinarian.
The hours I spend warm and cozy with a book I am reading: 5 minutes Minnie Mouse Tales, An Astronaughty Adventure of Mickey Mouse, Los juguetes de Joaquin, Paddington Bear…… or any book that I will read with my daughter.
With popcorn in hand the movie I’m watching is: a romantic comedy
Without a DVR on my cable box I’d miss: I’ don’t really watch a lot of TV shows, but If I need to choose maybe it can be: “New Amsterdam” or “Chicago Med”.
On my IPod, ITouch, IPhone, IMac, IPad etc, I listen to: Diego Torres or whatever song that make me sing loud.
When friends and family come to visit me in Little Rock, I want to: take them to eat in a local restaurant, do trekking at Pinnacle Mountain or walk along Lake Maumelle.
I chose the UAMS Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Program because it’s wonderful and: after my interview I knew I would be working with friendly and kind people who teach me how I can became a better professional day by day.
