The Department encourages faculty interested in Quality Improvement and Innovation leadership to develop their skills through a variety of training opportunities. Designed to build from the ground up or strengthen an existing QI education, the courses offered below are geared to delivering exceptional outcomes and set students on the road to success.

1-hour Teams or classroom training Introduction to fundimentals of Quality Improvement
14 self-paced ACU modules Project-based course that guides students through a QI project from start to finish Each team paired with a mentor from the Process Improvement team
2-hour, Teams or classroom training Geared toward executives, section leaders, or other team members that will serve as project champion/sponsor for QI projects.
For faculty interested in developing a career focus on QI, the Department of Pediatrics supports further education in this area inside or outside of the institution.
