
Dr. Chung-Yang (Yang) Yeh received his B.A. in Biological Science/Psychology from Rutgers University where he conducted research in the laboratory of Dr. Nicholas Bello. He completed his Ph.D. in Neuroscience in the laboratory of Dr. Elias Aizenman at the University of Pittsburgh. Yang is currently a post-doctoral follow focusing on Metabolism of Aging in the laboratory of Dr. Dudley Lamming at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
During his post-doctoral training, Yang’s research has focused on the role of metabolism in diseases of the brain with a focus on Alzheimer’s disease.
Yang has published close to twenty manuscripts in high impact journals including Aging Cell, Nature Aging, Nature Communications, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. He received research grants including an American Heart Association Predoctoral Award, an NIA NRSA Individual Postdoctoral Fellowship, and he is currently funded by an NIH Pathway to Independence K99/R00 award.
