Block rotations will include a high-volume of service days where the fellow will perform postmortem examinations under the direct supervision of ASCL Faculty and the complete spectrum of forensic sciences led by ASCL Scientists and local experts.

The fellow will have a cumulative three months of training within the Ancillary and Research blocks to include the Forensic Sections (Forensic Toxicology, Chemistry, and DNA), the Criminalistics Sections (Evidence Receiving, Physical Evidence, Digital Evidence, and Firearms & Toolmarks), Forensic Subspecialties(Forensic Anthropology, Odontology, and Entomology), and Elective Rotations (Administration, Laboratory Management, Legal, and Research).
