Big on Little Rock

Along the south on the bank of the Arkansas River, Little Rock, Arkansas, is the cultural, culinary, entertainment and geographic heart of the state. And, with a population of nearly 200,000 people, it’s the largest city in Arkansas and the go-to destination to find a good time at a great value.
The capital city’s namesake – the little rock – is now the center of Riverfront Park, a beautiful, 33-acre urban park area along the Arkansas River with interpretive plaques, a world-class sculpture garden, a concert amphitheater, splash pads, playgrounds and innovative landscaping.
For many, the River Market District, located in downtown, along the Arkansas River, is the entertainment and nightlife hub of Little Rock. It is a place to do business, grab a fabulous meal, enjoy a little nightlife, or explore the area’s main library. Focal points include the Clinton Presidential Center & Park, the home of the Little Rock Farmers’ Market and food court at the River Market Hall and the family-friendly Museum of Discovery.
