In addition to patient experience and bedside teaching, our program offers an extensive didactic program during residency training. There are several regularly scheduled conferences that residents are required or encouraged to attend. These include conferences within the ACH Pediatric Neuroscience Center as well as the Department of Pediatrics and the Department of Neurology. Our residents also have access to a board review question bank as well as a board review series prior to graduation. During training, residents have the opportunity to attend national conferences such as the American Academy of Neurology and the Child Neurology Society annual meetings to provide further learning in the various areas of neurology. Below are examples of available conferences within our program.
Neuroscience Grand Rounds
These occur weekly with a focus on continuing education for multiple specialties within the Neuroscience Center including but not limited to Neurology, Neurosurgery, Rehabilitation and Genetics. Presentations are given by residents, various attendings and invited speakers.
