Robert Arrington Service Award
This award is presented to the faculty member who has shown continued and selfless dedication to the clinical mission and unwavering commitment to the care of children and their families in the state of Arkansas.
Hank Farrar Educator of the Year Award
This award is presented to the faculty member who has most contributed to medical education across the continuum (from UME to residents, fellows and beyond) in the past academic year.
Undergraduate Medical Educator of the Year Award
This award is given to the DOP faculty member who has most contributed to medical student education through curriculum development, didactic teaching, bedside teaching and mentoring over the past academic year.
Resident Medical Educator of the Year Award
This award is presented to the DOP faculty member who has most contributed to resident education through curriculum development, didactic teaching, bedside teaching and mentoring over the past academic year.
Fellow Medical Educator of the Year Award
This award will be given to the DOP faculty member who has most contributed to fellow education through curriculum development, didactic teaching, bedside teaching and mentoring over the past academic year.
Joan Cranmer Mentor of the Year Award
This annual award is given to a faculty member judged to be outstanding in quality and quantity of mentorship to a faculty member in the Department of Pediatrics.
Stacie Jones Junior Faculty Research Award
Given to a junior investigator who has demonstrated commitment and dedication to the overall DOP research mission while making significant strides in their own research development and progress.
Billy Thomas Diversity and Health Equity Award
This award is given to a faculty member who has demonstrated innovative approaches or championed processes to further diversity, equity, and/or inclusion efforts within the Department of Pediatrics.
Karen Farst Child Advocacy Award
This award is given to a member of the Pediatric Faculty who has demonstrated commitment and championed the advancement of healthcare for children.
DOP Administrative Partner of the Year Award
This award is given to an administrative staff team member (i.e.: administrative coordinator, office manager or office staff member, etc.) whose dedication and work ethic has gone above and beyond to further the mission of the Department of Pediatrics.
DOP APP of the Year Award
This award is given to an Advanced Practice Professional who has demonstrated exceptional family-centered care, championed innovative team approaches, supported outstanding educational efforts, and exemplified professionalism in their daily work.
DOP Dyad Partner of the Year Award
Given to a Dyad partner who has relentlessly improved processes, continuously supported service expansion and demonstrated outstanding commitment to mission-centered health care.
