Once you view a lecture, take the evaluation survey.
The Department of Pediatrics’ faculty development program strives to develop a culture that promotes faculty growth and skills in the following areas:
- Educational/teaching skills
- Leadership skills
- Skills necessary to engage in scholarly activities
- Personal development (Wellness and vitality).
The DOP Lunch & Learn series provides faculty the opportunity to meet and network with their colleagues across campus and learn about resources to support and enhance teaching and creative activities while enjoying lunch. Lunch will be provided at these informal sessions where facilitated discussions encourage open conversation amongst all participants.
“Faculty development has a critical role to play in promoting academic excellence and innovation.”
(Wilkerson and Irby, Academic Medicine, 73(4), 1998).
