UAMS offers ample opportunities for residents who are interested in research. Nearly every faculty member in our 10+ fellowship programs is involved in research. Each year we work to pair residents with faculty members in a field of their interest to help facilitate relationships and get them involved in research.
Additionally, the UAMS Translational Research Institute (TRI) is an entire institute dedicated to providing services and resources to our resident and faculty researchers to ensure the swift translation of research into health care advances. TRI offers funding sources, multi-institution databases of patient information to glean from, personalized statistics services, and much more to help with your research needs.
