Block Scheduling
Our program is designed with a 4+1 week block schedule for all categorical interns and residents. A block consists of four weeks on an inpatient/elective service followed by one week of ambulatory medicine. Rotations are divided into primary patient care on medical wards, ambulatory care and intensive care units (MICU or CCU) over the course of three years of training including one month in the Emergency Department and various electives.
