What do you want to do with your life? I am interested in academic medicine, hematology/oncology, and palliative care and hope to one day practice benign hematology at an academic center.
If you weren’t a doctor, what would you be? I would follow in my mother’s footsteps and be a chemistry teacher.
What do you do outside the hospital to relax and have fun? I love spending time with my fiancé, Trevor, and our animals (Keats the cat and Koa the horse). I also enjoy playing Dungeons and Dragons and expressing my artsy side through narrative medicine and embroidery.
Favorite show to binge watch? The Witcher (on Netflix)
Fun fact about yourself that not a lot of people know? Despite having the worst sense of direction of anyone I know, I was nationally recognized for my ability to read maps through Science Olympiad while I was in middle school.
What is the next thing you want to check off your bucket list? I’ve been to 42 out of the 50 states and would like to visit all 50.
