Hometown: Conway, Arkansas
Medical school: UAMS
Fav thing about UAMS Internal Medicine Residency? The collegial environment/Support from staff
Fav thing about living in Little Rock or Arkansas? Hiking/kayaking/disc golfing. Really anything outdoors. Little Rock is very pet friendly city as well.
What you want to do with your life? Hematology/Oncology. I like malignant hematology right now which would likely mean working in an academic center but I will keep my options open as I go into fellowship.
What do you do outside of the hospital to relax/have fun? I love disc golfing when it is nice outside but otherwise I enjoy playing board games and watching movies with friends.
If you weren’t a doctor, what would you be? Probably Batman.
Fav show to binge watch? Breaking bad is my favorite show, but I probably re-watch The Office and Parks and Rec the most.
Anything else you want the world to know? This has been a very supportive program and Little Rock is an excellent city. Please feel free to email me if you have any lingering questions about the program, Little Rock, or life in residency.
