Fav thing about UAMS Internal Medicine Residency? The camaraderie! I’ve become great friends with a lot of colleagues. Our staff is also incredibly supportive.
Future plans after residency? Hospital medicine or primary care.
Fav thing about living in Little Rock or Arkansas? Arkansas is very scenic. I love going to the state parks, hiking the trails, driving through rolling hills, walking alongside rivers. The food scene in Little Rock is great (shout-out to Big Orange, I love you)
If you weren’t a doctor, what would you be? My original life’s ambition was to become a programmer, a field that I still find fascinating. I love media – writing, editing, media studies – and would like to try my hand at an audio project of some kind, either a radio broadcast or podcast. I also still dream about being a drummer in a band someday.

Fun fact about yourself that not a lot of people know? I co-founded an improv theater troupe in my home town in 2012. It’s still alive and well to this day.
