Flashback to when you were 10 years old. What do you want to be when you grow up? I wanted to be a professional baseball player. Unfortunately, you have to be much more skilled than I was to be a professional baseball player.

If you weren’t a doctor, what would you be? I would probably either be a math/science teacher or a researcher. Each of those careers has some similarities to why I enjoy medicine and growing as a physician: solving problems, working with people, and being a lifelong learner.
Fav show to binge watch? So many – Stranger Things, Scrubs, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air to name a few. My wife and I try to have a couple of shows that we can binge together, which sometimes just ends up being Guy’s Grocery Games on the Food Network, but we had been binge-watching Suits lately. Also, feel free to throw any SpongeBob references my way.
What is a fun fact about yourself that not a lot of people know? I am a huge fan of music from the 1970s; I think it was probably the best decade of music.
What is the next thing you want to check off on your bucket list? We love to travel when we can, and I really want to go to Glacier National Park for our next trip.
Do you have any skills or talents that most people don’t know about? I play keyboard and write music when I can; one song I had recorded for our “first dance” song at our wedding. I definitely didn’t want to perform it live, because that would have been a disaster with all my nerves that day.
