Why did you choose UAMS for residency? as I will be spending 3 years in one place, my goal was getting into a residency program that makes me comfortable and love coming to work everyday. This is what I felt during my interview day, as the program was very friendly. coming from a very crowded city of Amman, I wanted to spend more time in greeny areas that have a lot of trees with less traffic. Also having some friends here telling me how happy they are in the program definitely helped!
Favorite thing about living in Little Rock? I love the nature in Little Rock and having many close by lakes and hiking spots.
What do you want to do with your life? I’m planning to do cardiology in the future as I have a special interest in EKGs.
What do you do outside of the hospital to relax/have fun? Surprisingly I’m starting to enjoy cooking! I enjoy spending my time talking to my family and hanging out with my friends here in Little Rock, we always go grab some food and enjoy the sunset at the many parks in the city.
If you weren’t a doctor, what would you be? I would probably be a soccer player. I love soccer but I’m not the most talented though.
Fav show to binge watch? Attack on Titan
Fun fact about yourself that not a lot of people know? I love solving the rubiks cube! I love learning the how to solve it algorithms.
Anything else you want the world/future applicants to know about yourself? I want them to know that I’m super happy in the program, and I feel grateful to be able to join such an amazing hospital! the best feeling you would want to get when waking up is being excited about going to work!
