When I was a kid, I wanted to be a:
Fashion designer, I used to stitch scarves with paper clips and pure confidence to turn them into ‘designer collections.’ A finance professional, because my older brother is one and he is the epitome of coolness and professionalism. And a veterinarian, because my love for animals was honestly out of control.
On Sunday mornings, you can usually find me:
Starting the day with a cup of coffee while video calling my family back home. Later, going for a walk/run while talking with my husband about medicine, philosophy, and random facts about life.
If I weren’t a doctor, I would be a:
Dentist. I think it is a good mix of medicine and procedures. I have always enjoyed creating solutions and fixing things with my hands.
Favorite show to binge watch:
I am a hardcore Friends fan. It definitely got me through some hard days in med school. Honorable mentions: Sherlock, House, and Naruto.
Fun Fact:
I really loved animals growing up. I had 29 pets, 24 of which were hamsters. I probably would have had even more if my parents had allowed it. Now I have toned it down to just my one cat, Lilo.
The next thing I want to check off my bucket list:
Skiing, running a marathon, and traveling to Japan and Italy.
Most people don’t know:
I like to think I am a decent cook, but my culinary skills should remain classified for everyone’s safety.
