Medical Training
Dr. Shin received his Doctor of Medicine from New York Medical College in May of 2023.
Achievements/Accomplishments/Milestones
He received his Bachelor’s degree in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University in 2018. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. At New York Medical College, he was AOA, received the Dr. Chouake Scholarship Fund Award (2022), and graduated with an Area of Concentration in Research.
Service
Dr. Shin volunteered and attended trips with Vision Care USA to Eye Camps in Flushing, NY and Maputo, Mozambique. He also participated in volunteer trips to Cuzco, Peru and partnered with Global Brigades to fundraise for a trip to Honduras.
Outside Interests and Hobbies
Dr. Shin grew up in Westchester County, New York. He enjoys being outdoors, hiking, and traveling. He also enjoys Olympic weightlifting, going to the movies, and Formula 1.
