When I study medicine, I most enjoy learning about: Health disparities and ideas to one day try to eliminate them. I also enjoy learning about new medications and how they may potentially change the field. 

Things that make me unique are: I just got married this past year, fluent in Arabic, and plan to win a Fantasy Football Championship.

I'm not only a doctor, I also like to: Cheer on the Sooners and OKC Thunder. I also enjoy spending time with family, playing basketball, and being outdoors.

To get myself motivated I think of: My family and the potential we have to make each day better for the individuals and families we treat.

My favorite movies or tv shows include: Rush Hour, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, and Breaking Bad.

I chose this UAMS Fellowship Program because: How genuinely kind and welcoming everyone is. There's also so much experience to learning from with lots of interesting research taking place.

When I study medicine, I most enjoy learning about: I especially enjoy learning the pathophysiology behind disease processes. Knowing what specifically causes a disease gives me a better understanding of the clinical picture and how treatments are developed to target the main problem.

Things that make me unique are: I enjoy creating things whether it be drawing pet portraits, hand-binding books, writing songs, or baking cookies.

I’m not only a doctor, I also like to: I am an adventure-seeker, so I am constantly looking for new things to do or new hobbies to develop. Past and current hobbies include yoga, Pilates, Brazilian jiujitsu, crocheting, and weightlifting.

To get myself motivated I think of: I think of the babies and families that are depending on me to take care of them!

The hours I spend with a book I’m reading: A Walk to Remember, the Hunger Games trilogy, and any Juliet Marillier book

My favorite movies or tv shows include: I like romantic comedies and action adventures like The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Red, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Matrix

I chose the UAMS Allergy and Immunology Fellowship Program because it’s wonderful and: Everyone I met was extremely nice and laid back, the hospital was beautiful, and Little Rock has so many outdoorsy activities nearby!
