I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because: When rotating at AR Children’s it felt like a natural fit. The residents, doctors, and staff were all welcoming and kept their focus on giving the best possible care to their patients. Being the only pediatric hospital in the state, the residents see various clinical presentations from higher yield to rare diagnosis and everything in between thus enhancing our training.

I chose the UAMS Pediatrics Residency Program because: The UAMS Peds Residency provides a lot of opportunity to explore the full realm of pediatrics, whether that is PEM, critical care, or outpatient. Additionally, I had an extremely positive interview experience with the program and enjoyed my conversations with the faculty. I got the impression that the faculty take an active role in resident growth and education.
