Educating Future Mental Health Providers
The Pediatric Psychology section is part of the Department of Pediatrics in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and is an expanding department with approximately 250 faculty members, including 18 psychologists. The Department is committed to developing nationally recognized clinical and research programs, including comprehensive interdisciplinary clinical and training efforts. Psychologists are also embedded in other sections within the Department of Pediatrics (i.e., Children at Risk, Adolescent Medicine, Behavioral Pediatrics).
