Dr. Elisabet Børsheim, Professor of Pediatrics and Geriatrics, is the inaugural ACRI Director of Research Faculty Development. She serves in multiple leadership roles including, Associate Director, Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center; Director, Physical Activity, Energetics & Metabolism research group and core; Director Metabolism & Bioenergetics Core, CCOP; and Co-Director UAMS-Translational Research Institute’s KL2-Career Development Program.

Dr. Craig Porter, Associate Professor of Pediatrics is now the Associate Director of Laboratory Research & interim Director of Laboratory Research. Dr. Porter is currently the Director of the ARS-USDA Animals Research Core; Associate Director of the Physical Activity, Energetics and Metabolism research group and core and Associate Director of the Metabolism and Bioenergetics Core, CCOP.
