Our External Advisory Committee (EAC) consists of five scientists with expertise in musculoskeletal diseases. Each member wase selected post-award in accordance with the policies outlined in the COBRE funding opportunity announcement. The EAC oversees and critiques the scientific progress and administrative function of the CMDR and advise Dr. O’Brien on these matters.
Our Internal Advisory Committee (IAC) provides additional input to the CMDR. The IAC facilitatse access to institutional resources necessary to develop and expand the CMDR, such as commitments for new faculty recruitment and infrastructure development. The IAC also advises and work with Dr. O’Brien regarding strategic planning and administrative oversight of the Center.
