The Chief Residents plan events and initiatives through their Wellness committee to expand cultural consciousness within the department. The Chief Residents plan cultural days and CAO Grand Rounds as well as advancing the CAO mission by making sure didactics cover biases in medicine, social determinants of health, LGBTQIA+ health, and women’s health.
