Sarah Palmer, D.O.
“The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”
– William Osler
Meet Dr. Palmer
Dr. Palmer grew up in Oregon, in the Willamette Valley. She completed her undergraduate education at Pacific University where she graduated summa cum laude in Spanish Language and minored in Biology. She attended medical school at Western University of Health Sciences – College of Osteopathic Medicine of the PNW. Dr. Palmer then headed to Little Rock where she completed Anesthesiology Residency at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. It was during residency when she developed her passion for performing procedures. She decided to pursue chronic pain management because in addition to the procedural aspect, it allows her to connect with her patient and have continuity of care, which she finds incredibly rewarding. When she is not helping patients manage their chronic pain, she enjoys spending time outside and loves taking her two dogs on adventures. Some of her favorite activities include backpacking, SUPing and playing pickleball and volleyball.
