Favorite Aspects of Pathology: I love the breadth of the field and the amazing community in pathology!
Outside of Medicine: I like to go on adventures with my dog, go to coffee shops and try new restaurants, read book series, and travel to the beach!
Why I Like UAMS Pathology: I knew UAMS Pathology was for me from the first time I rotated through as a medical student. All of the people are incredibly welcoming and made me feel at home in the program. The faculty prioritize resident education and everyone helps create a supportive learning environment.
Favorite Activity in Arkansas: I love going on floating trips to all of the beautiful rivers in Arkansas. I also love spending time at the lake.
Favorite Restaurant in Little Rock: There are so many great options in Little Rock! My favorites are the great brunch spots like Loca Luna, Yaya’s Euro Bistro, and Big Bad Breakfast.
If I weren’t a pathologist, I would be: A criminal profiler! If I couldn’t be in medicine, I would want to help solve mysteries in other ways.
