Favorite Aspects of Pathology: Getting to see the incorporation anatomy and physiology into diagnosis and patient care.
Outside of Medicine: Outside of medicine my favorite hobby is jiu-jitsu and I enjoy competing. I also love everything involving homesteading. I have a garden and chickens and enjoy hunting, preparing, and canning my own food. I also have a dog and a cat and spend as much time outside as I can.
Why I Like UAMS Pathology: I went to medical school at UAMS and rotated through much of the pathology department. There is such a variety of people and interests as well as a supportive environment, so I knew I wanted to stay here for residency.
Favorite Activity in Arkansas: When I’m not spending time in the gym, I enjoy going out to eat downtown and going to different restaurants and bars to watch live music with friends.
Favorite Restaurant in Little Rock: Allsopp and Chapple Restaurant and Brood and Barely are two of my favorites.
If I weren’t a pathologist, I would be: 100% would be an MMA fighter.
