Favorite Aspects of Pathology: Pathology provides various cases we can diagnose, allowing us to grow in our knowledge and provide care for so many patients! Also, the histology – grossing tissues and being able to microscopically appreciate the differences in the various diagnoses we may see. Being a part of this field just makes my heart happy!
Outside of Medicine: Reading fantasy book series, watching movies/tv shows like Harry Potter or Gilmore Girls, and spending time with family and friends.
Why I like UAMS Pathology: The people! They are kind, considerate, so smart, and supportive making it the kind of environment where I can grow as a Pathologist and a person.
Favorite Activity in Arkansas: So far visiting the State Capitol and spending the day with my parents getting to know my new home! Trying new restaurants, visiting the zoo (one day soon), and other new adventures to be experienced.
Favorite Restaurant in Little Rock: David’s Burgers, Taziki’s Mediterranean Cafe, or Tacos 4 Life, YUM!
If I weren’t a pathologist, I would be: A book editor or a teacher.
