Dietary analysis for Precision Health
Dr. Colin Kay’s research integrates bioinformatics and multi-omics data to advance the translation of diet–health relationships, enabling deeper insight into how dietary patterns influence metabolic pathways and human health. Dr. Kay directs the ACNC’s Metabolomics and Analytical Chemistry Core, and his research team collaborates extensively with the Biostatistics and Data Innovation Core.
Exploring Dietary Phytochemical Metabolites
As Director of Precision Health Research at ACRI, Dr. Kay leads interdisciplinary efforts to develop advanced analytical platforms that capture the complex relationships among dietary intake, biochemical pathways, and medical and nutrition interventions. This work supports precision nutrition and health research by enabling integrated analysis of molecular, clinical, and dietary data across diverse study populations.
