Welcome to the UAMS Department of Pediatrics (DOP) Office of Research. Our mission is to provide support, through seamless processes and infrastructures to sustain innovative and exceptional basic, clinical, translational and implementation pediatric research. This aligns with the DOP mission to provide exceptional, family-centered care driven by scientific discovery and evidence-based medicine as we train the next generation of pediatricians and leaders in pediatric health.
The Office of Research provides administrative support for trainees and faculty members for funded research activities. We help with developing hypotheses, specific aims, grant support, biostatistical support and manuscript submission.
The DOP Office of Research hosts a monthly Pediatric Research Seminar Series and a quarterly DOP Research Council meeting to address research needs for the whole department.
