Effectiveness (NCOR) Spark Awards FY2025-2026
NCOR Spark Awards FY2025-2026 are quick-start grants are designed to launch new opioid-focused research efforts supporting innovative projects that spark future federal funding and advance NCOR’s vision of advancing healthcare and societal solutions that address opioid and other substance misuse through groundbreaking research and strong partnerships to heal and empower children, families, and future generations.
The program provides up to $150,000 over two years, with LOIs accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted or June 30, 2026. Full details including eligibility, budget guidelines, and submission requirements are included in the FOA. Projects should address issues related to opioid misuse that impact the health and well-being of children and families in Arkansas and beyond and will be integrated within NCOR.
Key points:
- ACRI investigators and other UAMS faculty with a terminal degree are eligible to apply
- $150,000 total (up to $75,000 per year for up to 2 years)
- Letter of Intent Due Date: Accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted or June 30, 2026 (whichever is earliest)
