Call for Applications: Early-Career Nutrition Research Grants
The ASPEN Rhoads Research Foundation supports high-quality scientific research in clinical nutrition and metabolic support. Early-career investigators are invited to apply for funding to advance projects aligned with priorities outlined in the ASPEN Research Agenda including nutrition therapy, metabolic support, and related clinical nutrition topics. NIH Grant Opportunity for Doctoral Students
NIH has opened applications for RFA-OD-27-006, “Maximizing the Scientific Value of Data Generated by the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Program: Dissertation Grant (R36 – Clinical Trial Not Allowed).” The opportunity supports doctoral candidates studying high-priority areas of child health for the completion of their doctoral dissertation research project. This opportunity seeks to advance research in child health by stimulating the use of ECHO Cohort data by doctoral students in relevant scientific areas. Applications are due October 16.
National Center for Opioid Research and Clinical Effectiveness (NCOR) Spark Awards FY2025-2026 is accepting applications!
These quick-start projects are designed to spark new lines of research and/or collaborations that will result in the receipt of external research funding. Projects should address issues related to opioid misuse that impact the health and well-being of children and families in Arkansas and beyond and will be integrated within NCOR.
Key points:
- ACRI investigators and other UAMS faculty with a terminal degree are eligible to apply
- $150,000 total (up to $75,000 per year for up to 2 years)
- Letter of Intent Due Date: Accepted on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted or June 30, 2026 (whichever is earliest)
