Assistant professor Esraa Shosha was awarded a highly competitive Career Development Award from the American Heart Association. The three-year award will support her groundbreaking research project titled “Role of endothelial HDAC3 in proliferative retinopathy.” The award total was $231,000.
Dr. Shosha was also awarded a travel award to attend the ASPET annual meeting and present her work as oral and poster presentations.
