The lab had a wonderful experience at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) conference in Denver. Dr. Fouda moderated both an oral and a poster session, while the lab contributed four presentations. PhD student Mohamed Abdelhamed also moderated two sessions. A major highlight was Christian Mitchell, MS, receiving a competitive score for her F31 fellowship; the team visited the National Eye Institute (NEI) booth to speak with the Program Officer, who provided very positive feedback.
