Our summer undergraduates capped off an exceptional research season on July 29th by presenting their work at the Thirteenth Annual Arkansas Undergraduate Summer Research Symposium. We are thrilled to share that two of our ASPET SURF trainees received presentation awards for their outstanding contributions. Joshua Skipworth, an undergraduate from the University of Central Arkansas, earned an award for his poster presentation titled “Fentanyl and fentanyl analog quantification via blood micro‐fluidic sampling and LC‐MS/MS,” co-authored alongside Isabel L. Ritter, Marina Avram, Justin Pressley, Jeffery Moran, and William Fantegrossi. Additionally, Mishel Ocho from Wake Forest University received an award for his podium presentation titled “Rewarding effects of compounds commonly found in kratom products,” co-authored with William E.
