Clinical Services

The College of Medicine provides an array of counseling and psychiatric services that are timely, free, and confidential to help residents or fellows who are dealing with severe stress, depression, anxiety, relationship problems, substance use issues, burnout and other emotional problems through two entities that are housed separately. Please feel free to contact either one or both of these services.

Counseling and Therapy Services

The Arkansas Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provides professional counseling and/or referral to community resources for a wide range of problems and situations.

Dr. Tracy Haselow and Dr. Todd Brinkley, provides services for residents or fellows who need diagnostic psychiatric evaluation and medication management for any mental health disorders.

For UAMS Northwest Residents

The UAMS Northwest Wellness Program provides free, confidential, and timely counseling/therapy, psychiatric evaluation, and medication management services in a safe and nurturing therapeutic environment to actively enrolled UAMS residents, students, and their partners seeking help for emotional and mental health issues.
