We encourage you to take care of yourself, your loved ones and to be safe. As front line providers, it is natural to worry about the wellbeing of our patients, our team, and our loved ones. During times like these, it is also important to take care of our own emotional and mental health as providers. With the uncertainties associated with this situation, you may feel overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, and experience depressive symptoms, and/or worsening of pre-existing symptoms. Please know that we at the Resident Wellness Program (RWP) and the Employee Assistance Program (EAP) are here to help you in any way we can.
We will be open during our regular hours to see residents. If you have never received care from RWP and are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and/or depressed, we can help you. Please contact us at 501-686-8408 or email Dr. Thapa at firstname.lastname@example.org or Dr. Flynn at email@example.com. You can also call the EAP at 501-686-2588. Or, if you’d rather reach out anonymously, you can access the Interactive Screening Program (ISP).
Here is a resource you can review regarding Coping with Keeping your Distance to Stay Safe.
We also now have set up Zoom for secure televideo sessions. If you are symptomatic (cough, fever, shortness of breath), test positive for the virus, have been exposed to someone with the infection, or would prefer not to come to our office physically, please call us at 501-686-8408 so we can provide services online.
We are in this together, and together we will get through this.
