What is Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery?
Plastic and reconstructive surgery stands apart from other surgical subspecialties as it is not bound to a specific region of the body or list of procedures. Plastic and reconstructive surgery prides itself on advancing surgical care through innovative approaches to surgical challenges. In addition to the full array of procedures that plastic and reconstructive surgery offers patients, plastic and reconstructive surgeons often partner with other surgical specialties to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
