Thomas Allen Bruce, M.D.
Dr. Bruce graduated with honors from UAMS College of Medicine in 1955 and went on to complete training in internal medicine in New York and Texas, and later cardiology in Texas and London. Bruce served as Program Director for Health, Rural Development, and International Leadership for the Kellogg Foundation; the Dean of the UAMS College of Medicine; the founding dean pro tem of the UAMS School of Public Health; and the chair of the Board of Directors of Heifer International.
