Our vision is to have an organizational environment that embodies a culture of inclusion within the department where all members receive equitable treatment, feel valued, and are supported in the pursuit of excellence in their endeavors, while maintaining respect for work-life balance. Our mission is to support our students, staff, and faculty by identifying and addressing barriers to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education, research, administration, service, and beyond. It is our duty to listen, engage in dialog, advise, build relationships, and foster any needed changes, while modeling inclusive behavior in all circumstances.
