Technology Accelerating Knowledge to Improve Human Health
A department within the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Biomedical Informatics is led by Dr. Fred Prior, Professor and Chair. We develop computational tools to assess and manage medical and public health information. We serve as the campus leader for such projects. Located on the fourth floor of the Jack T. DBMI Faculty Awarded $75,000 for Research of Remote Care for People with Parkinson’s Disease
Translational Research Institute announced DBMI associate professor, Tuhin Virmani, M.D., Ph.D., as the recipient of its first $75,000 Team Science Champion Award, allowing his further investigation of the potential benefit for remote assessment of people with Parkinson’s disease.
