I am Dr. Srilakshmi Ravula and extremely proud to say that I am an alumni of UAMS Nephrology Fellowship program! After graduating from PSI Medical College, India, I moved to the USA to pursue my residency in Internal Medicine that I completed at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. I then moved to Little Rock for my Nephrology Fellowship and have been calling Arkansas my home since 2016.

What Do You Like About Nephrology?
What fascinates me about Nephrology is that although it is a very complex and physiology driven field it can be quite intellectually stimulating. It also offers a wide scope of practice from very critical patients in ICU setting to a stable patient population in ambulatory setting.
Why Little Rock?
It’s a great place to raise a family, neither too big or too small and easy to commute within city. Great weather that it offers is a big bonus and most importantly the southern hospitality slowly but surely grew onto us, and we decided to make it our home.
