Message from the Program Director
Welcome and thank you for your interest in learning more about our program! The UAMS Rheumatology Fellowship Training Program is currently undergoing an extensive overhaul to better align with the Program’s new vision and mission. We are committed to developing the next generation of academic rheumatologists- physicians who will be outstanding clinician educators, clinical researchers, or translational scientists. Our program is an intensive two-year program (with an optional third year for fellows interested in a research career) designed to expose fellows to all aspects of rheumatology and immunology. This immersive program aims to develop not only outstanding rheumatologists, but also excellent internists capable of managing the various arthritides and complex multiorgan autoimmune diseases.
Thank you for your interest in our program. Please reach out to us with any questions, and congrats on choosing rheumatology!
With best wishes,
Sam R. Dalvi, M.D.
