I joined the UAMS College of Medicine as the Neurology Resident Coordinator in June 2015.
It is very rewarding to work with and on behalf of our residents. There is always something interesting happening at my workplace and I enjoy learning new things every day. It is an honor to get to know the residents as individuals and to assist them on their amazing career paths.
I have 18 years of experience working with graduate students in business and health administration at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR) and UAMS. From 1988 to 1997 I was the Manager for the Little Rock Center of Kaplan Test Prep, a private company that offers courses and materials to prepare for exams such as the MCAT for medical school entrance, the National Medical Boards for physicians, and the NCLEX for nursing licensure. Being a coordinator for residents has been a natural transition for me thus far.
I am a native Arkansan and have lived in Central Arkansas all my life. I highly recommend Little Rock and Arkansas as a place of natural beauty and warm Southern hospitality.
UAMS is an amazing place to learn, work and live. Join us and be a part of the comfort, hope and healing at UAMS.
