All fellows within the Department of Pediatrics are encouraged to undertake research efforts during their training.
Our section provides access to numerous research opportunities: clinical trials, clinical, translational and basic science are all active fields for our faculty. Research happens across the UAMS and Arkansas Children’s campuses through the UAMS Translational Research Institute, Arkansas Children’s Research Institute and Arkansas Children’s Nutrition Center, one of only two USDA-funded centers in the country focused on maternal and child nutrition research.
