A Collaborative, Comprehensive Approach
Our science is advanced through multi-disciplinary, team-based research that leverages faculty and staff talents across several Research Cores and Labs, enabling us to examine biology and child development at a very fundamental, molecular level (cell signaling and energetics, changes in the metabolome, epigenome, and gut microbiota) while in parallel considering in clinical studies how these factors impact whole-body physiology, body composition, brain neurodevelopment and behavior.
