2025 Highlights

Dr. Stacie M. Jones was inducted into the 9th class of the Arkansas Women’s Hall of Fame, recognized as an internationally renowned scientist and pioneer of the first oral immune therapy to treat peanut allergy. The ceremony was held August 21, 2025, at the Statehouse Convention Center, Little Rock.

Perry named ACRI President
Dr. Tamara T. Perry named Senior Vice President and Chief Research Officer for Arkansas Children’s and will also serve as president of the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute.
Pesek name Allergy-Immunology Chief
Dr. Robbie Pesek, named Section Chief of Allergy and Immunology and the Dr. and Mrs. Leeman King Endowed Chair in Pediatric Allergy.
Kennedy promoted to Professor
Dr. Josh Kennedy, Associate Vice Chair of Research has been promoted to Professor of Pediatrics
